Major Feature Updates:

  • Major Pet Rework : Most pets have seen a shift in the way that they work. Previously, all pets (besides Penguin) activated 10% of the time, regardless of their ability. With this update, each pet has it's own chance to activate. This will allow me to make pets with much more varied abilities, since I can now control how often they will activate. From the new "Pet Info" window (accessed by pressing the info button next to each pet that you already own), you can see a detailed description of what that pet does, and how often it does it, as well as a little lore-friendly biography about that pet :) The full list of pet changes can be found at the bottom of this post.

Minor Feature Updates:

  • Added a quick menu for selecting favourite pets
  • Double clicking a pet in the pet menu will now close the pet menu
  • Added a button to quickly go from the high-tier map page to the store page

Tweaks:

  • When gathering, resource amounts will now be shown in abbreviated format (m, b, etc.)
  • Continued improvement of UI, you know the drill
  • The Loot log is now expanded/retracted via double click
  • While the Loot Log is expanded, it will no longer snap to the bottom whenever a new line of text is added
  • Increased the maximum number of lines in the Loot Log from 50 to 150. This was originally set to 50 to counter-act performance-based issues that I believe have been addressed by code re-factoring
  • Town Menu will now periodically refresh while open
  • Made the double-click window for the ritual window slightly shorter
  • Lowered offline resource gathering slightly
  • The Monolith has been buffed and now gives a flat 1/20 chance for charms while grinding in the Monolith's location. This slots between Noxious Spire and Ancient Rise in terms of charm efficiency. If The Monolith is in the Ancient Rise, the charm chance for Ancient Rise will instead be used. This interacts as expected when using Toad (it makes it 1/10, the same as Ancient Rise)
  • The Monolith now stays in a location for 2-5 minutes (Previously 5-10)
  • The "spawn boss" button has been removed from the game. Clicking your desired boss will automatically begin the boss spawning now
  • Beastial Steed now shows a multiplier to more accurately show the effect it will have on the newly reworked pets

Bug Fixes:

  • Steeds will no longer gain more experience than intended
  • All ascension gifts should now give the appropriate rewards
  • Noxious Keys will now show the correct cost at all times
  • Fixed a few colour issues with the Monolith
  • Fixed a bug that caused The Last to soft-lock bosses
  • Enchanted Tome will no longer spam you with random events without giving a chance to collect the rewards
  • The Completion bars now correctly account for Event pets and titles
