Version 1.5
MMO Simulator Online » Devlog
Version 1.5 is released! The Monolith! Charm changes! The game looks a bit better now!
Minor Feature Update:
- Added Magus Charms! Magus Charms are identical to other resource charms, but grant mana.
- Added The Monolith. The Monolith points the way to Charms. Once you have unlocked the Desert, the Monolith will appear above your loot log. The colour of The Monolith will match a location that you have unlocked, and if you grind in that location, the Monolith will glow to let you know that you're in the right place. While grinding in that location, your charm chances will be doubled. This stacks with Toad (allowing for a 4x if both conditions are met). If you're ever in doubt, you can click or tap the Monolith and a message will appear in the Loot Log telling you where to go. The Monolith moves randomly once every 5-10 minutes.
- Added a pause timer button to random events
- Added a banner on the main screen to let you know that your town needs to be named (This is required for town to function)
- Added various "under construction" signs around the game as a teaser for future content.
Tweaks:
- Drastically reduced boss spawning times, too many changes to list, but most bosses have seen a 50% decrease in spawn time.
- Continued improvement of UI. Standardized all window sizes across the game, and made pretty much every window look a bit nicer.
- Armories and Stockpiles now positively impact your chance for wheel tokens. If you have no armories or stockpiles, you will notice no difference.
- Improved the number of charms that can be acquired by picking a "bonus charms" option during a random event. (Previously: 1-3 charms would be obtained, now 3-10)
- Added current mana to steed screen
- Steeds will now train at 25% efficiency while you have no steed feed.
- Centered the help window
- Re-coloured charms in the loot log for readability
- Town titles are now granted at total town level breakpoints. Total town level is the sum of your Armories, Stockpiles, and Mills. The breakpoints are 225, 450, and 480 (max).
- Removed "active ritual" from the main page in anticipation of ritual re-work (needed the room)
- Fixed capitalization of several random event button prompts.
- Tools in the gathering screen now tell you how much they help your gathering speed
Bug Fixes:
- The leaderboard is no longer absolutely broken
- Made a bunch of buttons behave a bit nicer
- Buying Dungeon Keys will now appropriately update your key total (this was a purely visual bug)
- Fixed a bug that allowed clicking outside of the window to access unintended buttons
- You can no longer focus the version number on the login screen (Not even sure what happened there?)
- Fixed a bug that caused gathering to be much slower than intended.
- Fixed a bug that caused Enchanted Book to spam random events at a crazy speed, preventing the player from ever actually taking a random event reward
- Fixed a crucible gift listing the wrong amount of charms
- Fixed a bug that caused steeds to begin an ascension loop at Level 1
- Goblin no longer erroneously grants extra wheel spins (That's bane beetle's job >:c)
Minor Patchnotes (5/9/24 2:55pm AEST):
- Fixed a bug that caused absurd amounts of Magus Charms to be earned
- Fixed a bug that caused Steed XP gains to be a bit strange
- Added a ritual indicator
- Double clicking the Monolith will take you to the location of the Monolith, and double clicking your resources will take you to the Ritual page
